Rotary International Scholarship
The Rotary International scholarship selects individuals worldwide to award a fully funded academic fellowship. The three types of scholarships it offers include:
Peace Fellowships
The Rotary Peace Centre offers different types of scholarships that include:
A master’s degree program
This program lasts 15 to 24 months and includes a two to three months field study.
The Professional Development Certificate Program
It’s a professional development certificate program for those with more extensive experience in peace-related fields, you will have access to a three-month program in Peace and conflict resolution in this program.

Eligibility
The Rotary Peace Scholarship is designed for professionals with work experience in international development, or in Peace and conflict prevention and resolution with the following requirement:
- Not less than three years of work experience in a master’s program
- Commitment to cross-cultural understanding and Peace shown through academic achievement, community service, or personal achievements
- 5 years of related work experience for the certificate program and the ability to explain how your plan to promote peace relates to Rotary’s mission
- A bachelor’s degree
- Demonstrate leadership skill
- Proficiency in English

Rotary packaged grant
The package grant offers two fully funded scholarships through a packaged grant:
Rotary offers nursing scholarships and training for health educators in partnership with the Aga Khan University in Kenya.
Also in partnership with the UNESCO- IHE Institute for Water Education in the Netherlands the Rotary scholarship funds water and sanitation professionals.

District 7430 scholarships
District 7430 scholarship is a Rotary International Scholarship new grant model where Districts are empowered to make decisions about investing district funds for community projects. The focus is more on community projects and has approved District funds for scholarships.
Whichever type of Rotary International scholarship you wish to apply for, you must know that all  ideal candidates should possess the following:
- Well-refined and realistic goals
- Commitment to community service. A concrete idea for advancing within your chosen field
- A proof of sincerity about maintaining a lifelong relationship with Rotary after the scholarship period
After you’re nominated as a candidate, you will provide a clear timeline and information about the online global grant application process through the grant center.
Also, keep in mind that the scholarship will not be awarded until the foundation approves the grant.
In addition, as a prospective scholar, you must show proof of admission to the chosen university before your grant is approved.
Grant scholars are equally expected to participate in club or district activities before, after, or during the scholarship.
The global grant budget is $30,000 however, a scholarship may attract a larger grant application.
